Apply for Visa
Every person including children requires a visa to enter a foreign country. The general needs for acquiring a visa are the following. You will need valid passport which has a validity of around six months. The visa should have an appropriate visa fee. A person should carry at least two photographs of passport size and Pakistani citizens should carry at least five photographs. The application should be duly completed. Nationals from Bangladesh will have to fill up a special form in order to get a visa.
When traveling in India, you should carry a passports that is valid. The passport should be updated regularly and renewed before the expiry date. Check for all the specific requirements from your native country. The documentations include:
1) You will need an I 20 documents for immigration which is issued by the institute that you are linked with.
2) A specified fee which should be submitted for visa processing. It should be paid to the Embassy or the consulate.
3) Four or five passport sized photographs.
4) A passport that is valid.
5) A completely filled up visa registration form.
6) For students, TOEFL scores and transcripts from the university in English language.
7) Essential documents to present if you need to return to your native country.
8) Statements that provide your financial status, you should also carry some photocopies. Financial documents include statements from the bank, deposit certificates, records of tax payment, earning statements, and your sponsorship proof from corporation companies or any other entities if any.
State any job offers or educational programs that you are currently you would have completed at the time of your return. You should keep a documentation of your intended job like translation of the job ads, written description about your discussions with the interviewer. Have a statement about your future plans like pursuing a job or studies. Keep some references with you from your native country like parents, friends, children or spouse. Carry a local I D card which indicates your family members and their contacts.
A medical report that indicates your health should be carried, it is important because you should not have any serious illness as you could suffer difficulties later when you are in US.
